The M/V Providence Piers offers Cruises to Waterfire from Pawtucket

(May 30, 2006) The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council (BVTC) announces that the M/V Providence Piers is presenting Cruises to Waterfire for the 2006 season.

All tours depart from and return to Festival Pier in Pawtucket, RI off of School Street. (Route 114). There is ample FREE PARKING at the Festival Pier site.

Passengers will enjoy a 45 minute cruise from Pawtucket to Providence, RI to Waterfire and be dropped off at Crawford Street Landing in Downtown Providence, where they can enjoy the display for two hours, before returning to Pawtucket.

The M/V Providence Piers is a 49 passenger boat that is US Coast Guard inspected, complete with wheelchair access, restroom, climate controlled cabin and cocktail & soft drink service.

Tickets for the tours to Waterfire aboard the M/V Providence Piers are $20/person. Tickets and schedule of tours to Waterfire are available for purchase by calling the BVTC at 401-724-2200.
