Since 1993, the 49 passenger Explorer
has provided 120,000 passengers with a number of river tours along the
Blackstone River. In addition to being available for charter use,
there are a number of regularly scheduled narrated and custom tours
held throughout the warm weather months, in addition to various
educational programs. Cruises are also offered at special events
throughout the state.

A 33 passenger nostalgic Trolley which operates on an irregular
schedule throughout the Blackstone Valley and Wednesday through Saturday
along the Banner Trail in Providence. The Trolley is owned by the
Blackstone Valley Tourism Council and operated by Conway Gray Lines.
Available for charter.

Launched in May, 2000 as a millennium project, the 40-foot canal boat
is the only one of its kind plying American waters. Docked at its
permanent docking area at Central Falls Landing, The boat can seat up to
12 for river tours and can be chartered for up to 4 as an overnight bed

Take place on the Providence and Worcester
Railroad. Tours include a Spring Blossom Excursion in May and 2 October
Tours: Fall Foliage Excursion & Shopping to Putnam, October 9, and
Fall Festival & Shopping in Putnam, October 23. See the brilliant
foliage along 46 mile, round trip of the Blackstone River. Includes
interpretive narration of the region, its history and villages. Bring a
picnic lunch or enjoy the lunch counter. Both tours depart from Cumberland
Rhode Island at 9 am and return at 4 pm. COST:

14 passenger 20-foot pontoon boat ventures on areas of the River not
accessible by the Explorer. Offers a schedule of narrated tours. Readily
available for charter by smaller groups and families. Tours are 45
minutes long and narrated by a Riverguide. Cost: Adults-$7.00; Seniors
(over 62) & Youths (12-17)-$6.00 Children under 12-$5.00. Charter
rates: $50 per hour; minimum 2 hours.
