Volunteer group was recruited and Pawtucket’s Winter Wonderland was formed as an organization in conjunction with the City of Pawtucket. The event is held on two consecutive week ends preceding Christmas each year. They are happy and proud to report that it has been a huge success and continues to grow each year. Their goal is to provide a place where children and families can come to enjoy various holiday related activities at an affordable price.

Activities include (subject to change):

• Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus  (photos available for a small fee)
• Ride the  Miniature Train or the Historial Looff Carousal
• Enjoy a Hay Ride with your family
• Take a stroll  among the 500 trees and 20 Victorian houses
• Talk with our 18-foot talking Frosty the Snowman
• Let the children enjoy a free face painting and free craft activities
• Warm up with a cup of Hot Chocolate and a hot dog
• Visit the Historical Daggett House or  the paintings at the Watercolor Society in the 1st floor of the boat house.
• Be entertained every hour by a local dance studios, bands , choral or professional entertainer
• Walk through and enjoy the ” New Night Before Christmas “Displays
