City of Pawtucket Community Block Grant Scholarships Available for all Pawtucket Schools

Central Falls, RI - The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council announces that reservations for the popular education RiverClassroom programs aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer are now being accepted. Programs aboard the Explorer will begin in May.

RiverClassroom programs provide a hand-on educational experience and meet curriculum standards. In addition programs can be specialized according to teacher's needs and grade level. Cost is $250 for an hour program.

Pawtucket schools are eligible for scholarship for the programs thanks to a Grant from the City of Pawtucket. Scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis.

The Blackstone Valley Explorer is also available for summer camps, senior groups and charters by reservation. Sunday public tours will begin Sunday, May 29.
