Leaving a Legacy

Many friends tell us that they wish they could do more for the Blackstone Valley, but are not sure how. One good option to consider may be a deferred or planned gift. This could mean remembering the Blackstone Valley Legacy Trust in your will. There are plenty of other gift-giving options that are reviewed in this material. Some suggestions can give you personal tax benefits and at the same time leave you with satisfaction that your gift will contribute to future generations.

The tradition of remembrance lives today through you at the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council. In honor of the Blackstone River's role in American history, The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council has established the Blackstone Valley Legacy Trust.

Since 1985, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council has worked to make the Blackstone Valley a viable historic, educational tourist destination. With the success of its past projects, now is an exceptional time, to support the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council's efforts. To pay tribute to the vision of its donors, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council will place each contributor's name on a plaque, which will adorn the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council's headquarters.
