Riverfront Planning Seeks Public Input |

Officials from the Blackstone
Valley Tourism Council, the Blackstone River Valley
National Heritage
Corridor & the City of Central Falls, along with
representatives from local businesses, are seeking
ideas and suggestions for the development of the
City’s Riverfront. The public is invited and
encouraged to attend this meeting to offer their
input to enhance this working proposal.

Have a Ball at Mardi Gras 2006 |

Presented by the Northern RI Council on the Arts,
join in the celebration of Mardi Gras 2006! Beginning
with a Children's event on Saturday, February 25
followed by the Queen's Coronation on Sunday,
February 26 all leading up to Mardi Gras 2006 on
March 4, 2006 with four locations featuring headlining
bands, costume contests, and fine food. Tickets for
the Ball are $30 per person. For more

Blaze a Trail - New Canoes on Display |

the Blackstone Canoe Trail currently has six
individually-painted canoes on display with more
expected in the next few months. The most recent
canoe is located at the Lincoln Shopping Center on
Front Street in Lincoln, RI. If you would like
