Samuel Slater Canal Boat and Blackstone Valley Explorer to Ply the Waters of The Blackstone |
 |
With dock repair work underway at the Central Falls
Landing, The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council
(BVTC) is pleased to announce that they will resume
river tour operations for the 2006 season aboard the
Blackstone Valley Explorer; a 49-passenger riverboat.
and the Samuel Slater, an authentic British canal
boat; at Central Falls Landing located at the corner
of Broad Street and Madeira Avenue.
A cruise along the Blackstone River whether
aboard
the Explorer or the Samuel Slater Canal Boat is an
experience you don’t want to miss. Once out on the
river, you leave behind the urban world of industry
for a serene oasis of natural beauty. Savor the
scenery with a British Tea Tour aboard the Slater or
explore the wilderness area with your friends aboard
the Explorer. Ask us about booking corporate
charters, group tours, or hosting your special
occasion aboard one of these fine boats. If it
is an overnight experience on the river that you
relish, book a stay aboard the Samuel Slater, which
also serves as a floating Bed & Breakfast and sleeps
up to four guests. For a copy
of a brochure for the Samuel Slater Canal Boat or the
Blackstone Valley Explorer contact the Blackstone
Valley Tourism Council at 401-724-2200.
