Train Trips

 

A highlight of the Putnam Fall Festival will be musical entertainment and an arts and crafts show during your 3 ½ hour stop in Putnam for  lunch and visiting the antique and gift shops. Enjoy many reasonably priced restaurants in Putnam and also the dining car on the train which serves hot dogs, hamburgers, coffee, soda, chips, candy and snacks.

9:00am - 4:30pm.

3 1/2 hours in Putnam for antique shopping, dining, and Putnam Fall Festival.

  • Passengers should arrive at least 1/2 hour before the scheduled departure.

  • There are limited restroom facilities on the train.

  • The train is not handicapped accessible but there will be train staff available to assist passengers.

  • Passengers are assigned a car and seat number. Please check your tickets carefully.

  • Free parking is available at One Depot Square.

Directions to One Depot Square

From 146 South:

Follow Route 146 South to Route 104 North (downtown Woonsocket exit-left at the end of ramp, this is Providence St.). Go straight through lights continuing on Providence St. all the way to the end. Turn right on South Main St. Continue through Market Square onto Main St. to the light at intersection with High St. Turn left onto High St. to enter the Train Depot.

From 146 North:

Follow Route 146 North to Route 146A North to Park Square. Turn right on Park Ave. and follow to Hamlet Ave. Turn left onto Hamlet Ave. Cross over the Court Street Bridge and go straight through the intersection on to High St. The entrance to the Train Depot is on the right immediately after the light.
