Sponsored by The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council The Northern Rhode Island Council on the Arts Jen's Dish Radio Hour The Call Narragansett Beer Calise Bakery Lil' General Stores The City of Woonsocket Awards and Prize 1st Place - Dynamite Recipe-$200 (Crowned Dynamite King or Queen) and will participate in Woonsocket’s Autumnfest Parade 2nd Place - Dynamite Recipe - $150 3rd Place - Dynamite Recipe - $100 Instructions and Information Open to all cooks (professional and non-professional) at least 18 or older or you must be sponsored by an adult 18 or older. Contestants must be present for cook-off judging. The winning contestant shall provide a written recipe for their Dynamite. Contestants must arrive at River Island Park by 11:00 a.m. Judging begins at 12:00 noon. Dynamite will be placed on authorized tables only. Dynamite will be judged on taste and consistency. Dynamite rolls, paper plates, napkins, tables and tablecloths, chaffing dishes with Sterno will be provided by Cook-Off organizers. No electricity is available for cooking.
